Keeping your pool easy to maintain

Maintaining a pool is part of the art of balance. Many pools become fairly easy to manage when you ca find the right process for keeping them in tune. however, just like a car, once in a while they do need a tune-up.

My trick for keeping my pool in tip top shape is do the chemicals on a weekly basis. I choose Mondays because it is the day that gets the least use with our schedule. Then since it is done on the same day every week the same amount of time passes between each treatment. This makes it easy to track changes and to adjust to the pool's requirements.

Making this work is easy I make my coffee and head out and get the job done. The only bad part is when there is something dead in the skimmer. That can give a day a dark tinge. Most of the time it is a nice time of day to be outside and give a small sense of accomplishment to the morning.

The treatments vary by the pool, amount of sun and shade and way to many other conditions but if you work with your pool on a regular basis it sure makes the summer fun.
