Spain, officially the Kingdom of Spain, is a sovereign state and a member state of the European Union. It is located on the Iberian Peninsula, in the Southwest of Europe, and it also includes the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands. It has about 46 million inhabitants and a surface of 500.000 km2.

Spain is widely known as a tourist destination. And it is no wonder why. The Spanish coastline, beautiful and incredibly long, is washed by the Mediterranean Sea, the Atlantic Ocean and the Cantabrian Sea. That is to say, Spain is the perfect place to enjoy beach holidays in the sun: with so many coastal places to choose from, there will always be one perfect for you! And the inland of Spain has a lot to offer as well. Beautiful cities and towns, historic places, amazing landscapes...

It is true that Spain is different. It is different from the rest of Europe and even from itself. Every region is different in terms of geography, climate and even in culture and personality.

For this reason, Spain is a country characterized by its diversity, a country where all the climates and geographical features coexist, from fantastic beaches to snowy mountain ranges, vast areas of green countryside and even deserts.

Flamenco music and dance, bullfights and paella are known all over the world, but there is much more to it than that. Spain has a long history, and is country full of art and culture. In fact, it has been one of the cultural centers of Europe for hundreds of years.

Nowadays, tradition lives together with modernity, with ancient monuments and buildings as well as futuristic architecture. One of the major features of Spain is its gastronomy. There is an amazing range of dishes, some of them known throughout the world, some waiting to be discovered. From paella in Mediterranean coast to fish and seafood in the North of Spain, every dish will be a great gastronomic experience. But it is not only about the preparation method, the quality of the ingredients is a key factor. And Spain has excellent, good quality ingredients. Olive oil, chorizo, seafood and serrano ham are only a few examples. There is no doubt that tasting Spanish cuisine is the most delicious of the pleasures, so what are you waiting for?
